Comment: MZ SPECIAL - Hi there I live in New Zealand and ride to work on a bright orange ETZ250 each day ( a rare bike here!). My othere bike is a 650 Honda BROS. I've got another spares bike which I'd like to turn into a special.I'm keen to hear from anyone who has cput another engine into the brilliant ETZ frame.i.e. another big 2 or 4 stroke motor. I think a 500 single (not a rotax)
would be good.
Regards Glyn

Comment: Nice Webside, got some new informations.
I´ve got three bikes in my garage, an MZ TS 250/ 4-Speed for the very sunny days, an H-D Sportster 1200 Sport for everyday use and an MZ ETZ 250 for the arctic season.

Comment: i have just bought two ts125 one is 1978 the other 1980 .after spending a week looking for the ignition i have been told that it is the switch on the headlight. there are various positions which is the correct ones ?.
also where does the gearbox oil go ?and how can i change it?
i am getting no spark from the plug i have cleaned the points etc -- any suggestions
how to do tests for faulty or worn parts etc...
i sound stupid asking such basic questions but
