Thirty odd years ago in a small diner in Midlothian Virginia, you took a break and sat at our table, with just me and my wife. You had a dumb line. "How did I sound tonight? I have a little cold." Well Charlie, I still brag about that night.

Comment: My husband was a longtime friend of Charlie's from the Bell's Trading Post in Takoma Park, to bluegrass festivals - visits to marina, and the house in Virginia my husband Bob fondly remember playing his dobro with Charlie, Ed Ferris and other they were his fiends and he loved them all - my husband passed July 9, 2000 so hopefully they are playing together again!!!

Comment: Hi I'm Rebecca Charlie Waller's great neice. I just wanted to let all of you know that My Nana is Charlie's sister. She recently past away on June 16th. One of her greatest love of life besides me was Her Brother Charlie and his music.
She also was so very proud of Randy. She would always say that boy is going to be somebody and she was right. I miss her and Charlie(sonny to us)very very much. But it comforts me to know she's with him.
