Love your High Nook Tarn walk. Just the thing for this 'wannabe',but as yet failed, fell walker. Will definately try this when we're in The Lakes in October tho' DETERMINED to do Catbells this time acrophobia or not. No room for chickening out again.

Comment: I had to smile when I saw the photo of the intrusive TV mast, apparently OK, as long as we can watch the telly. But a definate no, no, to wind turbines, after all, wind turbines only save global warming. Amazing.

Comment: I'd just like to thank Roger for his GPS advice when I was in the shop a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed looking at the pics from your Walla Crag outing. Comment: Hi Ann and Roger, due to difficulty sleeping I spent had a really enjoyable browse round your fantastic site in the early hours! Many of the photos brought back lovely memories of a couple of wonderful holidays I spent in your area. We stayed at Scale Hill in their self catering accomodation, but that was back in the 90s. Thanks for sharing your good fortune of living in such a beautiful part of the world :)

Was wondering how long it took you to shake the Ozzie accent once you got home? I have a friend who taught school there for a year, and she still says "I reckon" an awfully lot. LOL! Thanks for sharing your holiday with us, many, many wonderful
