Really enjoyed seeing the pictures of your last walk. We have stayed at Wythop Mill a couple of times now and Sale Fell & Ling Fell are tow lovely tops.

Comment: just laughing about your comments about Bowness Knott. very true !. we did it a couple of years ago thinking it's only a little 'un and with the big viewfinder symbol you expect nice forestry commission graded paths and a touristy top with handy viewfinder there. nothing of the sort!. ankle twister, with fallen trees to duck under and scramble over, lots of mossy stuff to slip on. & Pillar had clouded over ! old AW was spot on..never underesimate any fellwalk
