Comment: I was landlady of The Rule and Square from 1987-89.
My Partner Richard Pickett had relations living in Edlesborough with the surname Sear, we were interested to see the name in a couple of the photographs on the site.His family were friends with the Vasey family of Northall.

Comment: Excellent website.I am researching my family tree.My mother's name was Irons and her family on her father's side were born in Northall and Eaton Bray.We have connections by marriages I understand to Fensom, Lugsden, Fountain, Gadsden,Sanders and Lunnon families.William Irons b1848 Northall married Mary Lugsden b1848 Eaton Bray.If you can help ,get in touch.Thanks.

Comment: I love living in Eaton Bray and find most of the people ver nice.I used to be in the school council in Eaton Bray lower school and then I got to meet the Parish council withc made me more aware of the Village.

Comment: I lived for many years in Eaton Bray,my father was Stephen Rose,whom ran U.F.Loughton &sons Ltd following the death of my Grandfather U F Loughton,we lived in Moor End,I have since observed that the bungalow has been demolished,which my father designed and built.

Comment: I enjoyed your site whilst researching my family tree.A distant relative was a school teacher at the Wesleyan Day School in 1871.Before 1881 he had returned to his native Yorks! His wife was I believe from Eaton Bray born about 1845!

Comment: My wife and I lived in Edlesboruogh for 9 happy years, moving to Totternhoe for another 13 years.
We had an interest in the old Edlesborough and Totternhoe, and this site gives the past reality.
A modern way of them living forever.

Comment: i have happy memories of edlesborough for that is where my mum lived in her younger days she was joan tibbett, she had lots of brothers and sisters, nellie ,clare,kit florence, jack, slimmer, molly to name the ones i can remember. My lovely gran is buried in the churchyard.If anyone remerbers the Tibbett family or are relatives please get in touch.
