Comment: It is time for the people to stand up against these corrupt lawyers. It is time the public were able to benefit from the legal system as the lawyers do. It is all very unfair. The Law is an ASS.

Comment: keep up the good work. The legal profession in Ireland is a joke. Everything from sentencing, fines, suspended sentences, law society, avenues of redress ect, ect, ect. Don't get me started. Last but not least. Lawyers policing lawyers. No independent ombudsman, what a f*%@kin joke. Get me on the next trans-athlantic flight out of Ireland, the biggest banana republic of them all.

Comment: it is dreadful that so many decent people are treated so shamefully by a minority of the members of the legal profession.Likewise the medical profession(who also police themselves) are being scandalized in recent high profile expose cases such as that of the unfortunate women who had their womb removed by a crazed surgeon in a Drogheda hospital.
We need an independent policing system most of all of course to police the corrupt politicians here who outnumber their rivals in other professions.

Comment:
for your info...the RIRB was NOT established in 2000...it was 'spoken about' and then 'established in 2003, but didn't start operating as such, until November of same year....

Comment: Because The Wards of Court Office have the protection of the president of the High Court, I would be wasting my time trying to get him to get them to take the appropriate action in my mothers case (who is a Ward of Court since Oct 2006.) Despite the number of times I have appeared in the High Court I have never had an opportunity to speak or to be heard and I am my mothers sole carer. And the President has passed orders stating (at a hearing in the High Court) blah Blah. Justice, no way.

Comment: Mr Gill, I wish you could help me get justice for my 88 year old mum who has alzheimers and is a Ward of Court. That was the biggest mistake of my life. I took legal advise before I had her made a ward of court and that solicitor took €5500 for doing the job out of my mothers account. The legal team appointed by the president of the High Court have done nothing to the benefit of the Ward other than run up huge legal bills etc., and we are powerless to do anything but wait.
