Comment: I have been to Emily's site before, but didn't sign her guestbook. She is a beautiful baby. I hope Emily has met my son Blake: he was born with CHD too. Blake was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (he had 3 out of 4 components). He also had bilateral cleft lip and palate.
Thinking of our sweet babies. You have made a beautiful tribute to Emily.

Comment: Your sweet little Emily was just too precious...I have cried my way through her story. I too lost a baby, my son, Conner. He was stillborn at 32 weeks. He suffocated in the womb and attempts to revive him were unsucessful. He was a beautiful little man...
Thank you for sharing your precious Emily with us.
Love, Dionne

Comment: I can not imagine what it is to watch your child struggle between life and death and to wait for the Lord to make His call. My heart and prayers are with you. Thank you for sharing Emily with us. She IS precious!

Comment: Aw, Emmy is such a gorgeous little girl. Her story touches me very deeply. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious baby girl. I know that Max's 14 years sure weren't enough for me, but that I would not trade it for the world, as I am sure you feel about Emily. Thank you for sharing the url with me. I'll take a look at the chd website later this evening, and see about the auction. Thanks again, for sharing that information on HALO. If you'd like me to post about it on Groww, just email me

Comment: I am so sorry for your loss. Emily is a beautiful little girl. I cried as I read her story. I knew so little about CHDs until I gave birth to my son. I lost my son, Michael on 8/27/03. He had D-Transposition of the Great Arteries.
Your site is very informative.

Comment: I saw your site and read your story, Emily. Please watch over my Nick Nick too- he is five now, and the docs told us the same things when he was born, only he has a much healthier heart than you did, sweetie. The doctors are still trying to decide if he needs a transplant or not! Anyway, I know exactly how your Mommy feels, how she wished she could take your place, and how thankful she felt for every minute with you. I'm glad you are watching over her. Love, a friend

Comment: Gena,
What a wonderful tribute to Emily. I like that the story was done in what her words would have been. May God smile upon you as you remember those times with Emily.
