Comment: Just an update on the Cruise Video project mentioned on the "Links" Page. The Nam Cruise Video is finished and will be available at the reunion. Comment: While perusing GoogleEarth satellite photo for Alameda Naval Air Station, I spotted a carrier with the #42 painted on the foredeck. When I checked that # out, I found it was assigned to the USS Franklin D. Rosevelt(CV-42), that she was s***ped at Kearney, NJ about 1978, yet the satellite photo was dated 2007.
According to the GoogleEarth info tag, the carrier in the photo is the USS Hornet (CV-12).
Can anyone tell me what "Rosie's" hull # is doing painted on the foredeck of the Hor
