impressed in what you put together. My husband and I adopted our baby girl in late September. She is from China but she came to us...the woman who went to adopt her had many life

Comment: You have a beautiful daughter and a great webpage! Our first
daughter, Rachel, is also from Gaoyou and was in the Gaoyou Social
Welfare Institute. We adopted her in March 1997. Her Chinese name is
Gao, Xiao Shuang. I was recently told by a Chinese lady it meant she
was connected to me by a red thread!

I read with great interest your web page! On March 10, 1999 we returned from
China with our Gao gal!! Her name is Gao Xiao Kun (Little Lady). I have been
working on her lifebook and have been desperate to find more info or pictures
of Gayou. I've scourged the internet...but same old stuff, and little at that.
Anyway....did any of your group get to travel to Gayou at all? We stayed in
Nanjing...Central Hotel...would have loved the Hilton though!

I just read your Home Page and honestly, I was moved to tears. The pictures
really tell a wonderful story - especially when Catherine did not want to
leave you at the very end (picture with the Nanny). I like the history
