Comment: I was happy to find this web site and read about the 899th. My uncle, Sgt. William J. Maroney CoA. was killed in action on July 11, 1944. Up until now, I knew very little about his involvement in the war. It sure makes for some exciting reading!

Comment: Very impressive web page! It's good to see honor and credit given where due. I do living history (civil war-WWII) and learned quite a bit from your web site about tank destroyers. Do you know if there are any living history groups portraying TD battalions of WWII? Best wishes from Cheyenne, WY, Roy Varga

Comment: I enjoyed visiting your web site. As the webmaster of the 818th TD website I know how important it is to preserve the memories, history and information about brave men who fought for our freedom in WWII. Keep up the good work! I would like to invite everyone to visit the website of the 818th Tank Destroyer Battlion at www.818tdbn.org.
