Comment: To be more specific, my seniority held the Cleveland Division, even though I hired out of Buffalo. I was a happy camper, my grandfather was a steam engineer, and I got to live the dream for a little while.Got fed up with the layoffs though, soon as they cut the cabooses and traincrew size, I was toast. At least I had some fun.

Comment: Let's talk. I was a Conrail Road Brakeman out of Buffalo in the mid 70's-Buf to Collinwood. My seniority district allowed me to bump a few Collinwood brakes when I got laid off, and I just happened to land a choice job on the extra board: Collinwood to Conway Yard. I'll never forget it. Single track, blast from the past and written train orders that I had to stick my arm out to get, and I seem to remember it was Rave.
