Comment: My family used to live in Slidell during the 60's. We moved in Jan. 1970 to Las Vegas, where I still reside. My father and I used to collect coins and doubloons during the 1960's. Since my father's passing, I have no interest anymore in collecting. I have a lot of doubloons from the 1960's. My dad and I were some of the original founders of the Slidell coin club; of course I don't know if it still exists. Is anyone in your club interested in looking at the doubloons that I still have?

Comment: Nice site! Do you folks have newsletter articles you would be willing to share with other clubs? I have a few I've written for our club (The Lower Cape Fear Coin Club) and am very happy to share them all I ask is for appropriate credit for the work. I would of course return the courtesy of giving appropriate credit to your authors. Please let me know when you get the chance.
