I bought a Super 70's Les Paul PF200 (Sunburst) in 1985 for $200. Still have it and it plays great.

Comment: I had an Artist series Ibanez around 1983 but my second one wouldn't come until 1989. I had just purchased a new Les Paul Standard and got bored with it quick. The Rg series had just come out a couple of years earlier and all of my friends were buying them up. I had to have one myself. I took my mint condition les paul to my favorite music store to trade for a white rg550. The guy said I'll do the trade for 75.00 difference. OK!!
You have to remember when these 550's came out the price tag
