Comment: In pursuit of information about an ancestor, Jonas Hartzel, who lived near Winfield in the later 1850's, I shall be visitng Winfield around August 18-19. What are the Museum and gift shop hours? What resources are there in Winfield for this research?

Comment: I very much enjoyed the story by Marilyn Matthews Lambert regarding the Rexall store. My parents used Cara Nome hand cream, as well as face cream, and my first memories were of using the hand cream. I was very upset when it was no longer available. Wish I knew what the ingredients were.

Comment: Here is some information I found out about the old pool hall. I was talking to Grandma, and she stated that my Grandfather, Floyd Ibbotson, purchased the pool table that came from their. At the time, she couldn't remember the year, he purchased it for only $20.00.

Comment: I just took a look at the Wel-Come-Inn collection and was thrilled to see the beautiful photographs. It is especially fun to see the items for sale behind the bar - pipes, headache medicines, sunglasses, etc., as they really bring the era to life. Herb & Verca Butler(bar owners) are my grandparents, and Judy Rawson is my sister, so it was particularly exciting to view these pictures which I had never seen. Thank you for the terrific addition to your great site.
