Comment: I have a cocker spaniel (buff) who is 3 years of age and has begun to show similar signs of rage. My sister has a coker spaniel who is 5 years of age that has attacked her several times in the past year with a "crazed look" in his eyes. It is very very sad, as every other time of the day they are so sweet and loving. :(

Comment: How terribly sad. I am due to pick up my first ever Cocker tomorrow and I've been counting the days. This has really worried me. Is there any way of telling if your dog will develope "rage"?

Comment: GREAT WEBSITE.....
I am a dog trainer/behaviourist..I see things first hand as I work closely with the vets and local rescue groups.....
We have two local petshops that sell puppies and kittens and anything else.....THEY HAVE A TERRIBLE NAME, BUT PEOPLE FEEL SORRY for these animals and will buy from a petshop...
We need more information to give people.....
SEND ME INFORMATION TO HAVE UP ON THE BOARD OR TO GIVE OUT AT CLUB

Comment: i run a Dog Training Club in Surrey - and time ana again meet puppies purchased from Pet Shops that have not only health problems(an understatement) but sociability problems too. I even had one puppy arrive sold to the owners as a Golden Retriever at a very expensive price and as he grew he grew into an adorable Heinz 57!! with no trace of retriebver in him at all!!!
I had heard puppy farms are closing in Wales and moving to the Midlands as people dont associate the Midlands with batch bree
