Comment: The albums I told you I was making for my grandchildren for Christmas turned out so nicely. Thanks to your classes, I was able to include a short biography with each ancestor's picture, including name, nickname, birth and death dates, birthplace, where they lived, occupation, hobbies, military service, and education. Thanks for the spark to get this project going. You're the best!

Comment: Hi Val, it appears that Frederick Yost b. 1799 d. 1881 was my great grandfather's uncle.
He had a second wife after Louise died and ended up with 18 children. I don't have that information, but it was in some notes that my aunt had passed onto me several years ago before she passed away. Rachel

Comment: Hi Val, I 'm pretty sure our lines tie in. My great-Grandfather was August Yost. He came to MN in the 1860 's with an uncle. Would be interested in reviewing what you have on the Yost line.
