Geoff, Yes wing twist is a 'term' that we know as washout.

50mph is about 43 knots, So It should be ok for the ultralight cat.

Comment: Looks good but some people will take a lot of convincing. Can the 50 MPH stall be reduced to 45 Knots for ultralight requirements? By wing "twist" do you mean washout? Is "twist" an american usage?

Comment: Thanks for E-mailing me. Good job. I,ll be ordering plans soon. A P-40, just what I wanted. I do numerous WWII Reeanctments here in the states and several are desert campaigns. The P-40 will fit right in. We had a WAR FW-190 fly in one of our battles and it looked great. It also had propane guns and that created a somewhat realistic senario. I,ll definately have them on my P-40. Keep up the good work and stay in touch. Fly straight, Ken

Thanks for the heads-up on your website and new design! I started out taking your route, designing from scratch, but I decided that I was too darned old and too darned busy to finish a flyable plane in my lifetime. Thank heaven for the WAR Corsair! Looking forward to your pictures.

Question: did you beef up the main spar to get past the "is it really good for +/- 6 g" question brought up by the PFA in England? And if so, how did you go about it?
