Comment: I am very interested in this sight I have a lot of information on the Sivey family. My grandmother and I have been looking into our history for the past few years if I am not mistaken and I am reading all of your information as well as my own correctly Mathias Sivey Jr was my Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Grandfather.

Comment: Arthur Civey was my great grandfather. I used to visit them in New Florence when I was little with my grampa, Gardner. James Civey is my father.
I moved to San Francisco in 1983 and lost touch with my family.
I had wondered about our heritage and ran into what I thought was a dead end with a
hand written ledger that merely says "boy" and a date from Bethany.
I am a high school tacher now and will be 49 in May.

Comment: Very interesting, someone said that there is a church in Kansas city that has Sylvester Civey mothers name engraved in it for all the good she did. I had a street address, but I don't know where it is now. I thought it would be nice to take the grandkids.
