My name is Joan Williams,I had note from Shellley Fitness suggesting I look at your internet .I do not have a computer. Rebecca Howard (Clendon) was my Gr Gr Grandmother and though I am familiar with her life in New Zealand I would like to know anything you may have of her earlier life...Marriage, where and where she lived etc.Any info would be appreciated.

More copies are still available here in N.Z. I'll sent more info re Diana's little baby who is now 14months old and visiting Eastbourne with Diana.

Comment: Greetings from part of the US branch.
I've enjoyed corresponding with Tom Clendon since I found his web site. My great, great grandparents were George Clendon III and Mary Hunt (my great grandfather was Gilbert Clendon and my grandmother was Minnie Clendon Baldwin). I've sent information about the web site and the book to my siblings and all my cousins. The book is great!

Comment: Dear Tom

Really impressed with the amount of work you've put in. I remember meeting you many years ago when I was living in UK and made a couple of trips up to St. Albans before Sue and Ryland moved north. Now back home and would you believe too poor( I'm still a student) to buy the book yet! I keep hoping Shelley will give it to me for a birthday/christmas present but no such luck. I have resisted reading it until I get my own copy, but have to admit to reading snippets on the sly.Give

My copy is getting shipped over from New Zealand, along with my other belongings.Seems a bit silly really - my book will have done twice as much travelling as me by the time I recieve it!Jodene

Comment: Greetings Tom, great work. I have of course read the book - couldn't put it down - and it is good to see it is being "advertised" in cyberspace. Enjoyed your guest book touch - interesting to read comments from around the world. Hopefully more guests will sign in in the future.
