Comment: Loved the website!
My name was originally Ball and our family is buried at Newchapel Church. I visited the church on 18th Jan after my dad's funeral Elliot Ball (married Brenda Porter) son of Edmund amd Malinda Ball nee Henshall. We went up Church Street Rookery to look at our old house and were amazed that so many houses have been built but the road surface gets worse. I have some photos of Harriseahead school which my Grandmother Sarah Porter gave me.

Comment: I have just discovered that my 3xg grandfather's second wife came from Harriseahead. Until then I had not known it existed. A very interesting and informative site. Thank you. Her name was Sarah Wolliscroft and his name was Samuel Heath. They married in 1842.
