Comment: Could the designer of the site please tone down the colours and try and use less fonts! I really wanted to look at the site but got lost in the garish colours and multitude of fonts.

Comment: I have lived in the village for 8 years, and can honestly say it is the friendliest place I have ever lived. Audley is a picturesque village, and the residents should be very proud of their achievements, especially with the 'Britain in Bloom' awards. Keep up the good work!

Comment: What`s this about Halmerend reverting to its ancient name? Did anyone ask the residents of Halmerend if they wanted that because I certainly wasn`t asked. Whose decision was it? By ancient how far back do you mean? Stone Age? Roman? Perhaps we should start calling London "Londinium" and York "Eboracum"? Should we start referring to ourselves as "Saxons".What garbage.

Comment: I really link the site. It has a good reflection of our community. I represent the theatres youth group and I was represented to the bloomers in the auditorium of the theatre.
Astonishing comments from a 13 vyear old.
Please reply.
