Comment: http://www.gov.im/mnh/biblios/cholera.pdf
This is the website for a page on the Manx Museums publication list. If you scan down it you will see a drawing and reference materials to publications on Nellie Brennan, a pious Irishwoman who helped the poor of the town of Douglas during the Chlorera epidemic. Her biography was written by Bellalane Stowell, and I believe is still in print. Her home is still standing in Douglas. She was a 'Florence Nightingale'.
