in Ireland married Sarah Wood and lived in Canada and Pa. Sons were Peter, Henry, Joseph He migrated to Taylor county, Iowa and both he and Sarah are buried in the Catholic Cemeter...You have a nice site.

This is the website for a page on the Manx Museums publication list. If you scan down it you will see a drawing and reference materials to publications on Nellie Brennan, a pious Irishwoman who helped the poor of the town of Douglas during the Chlorera epidemic. Her biography was written by Bellalane Stowell, and I believe is still in print. Her home is still standing in Douglas. She was a 'Florence Nightingale'.
