Comment: Hi. I just stumbled across this site. I am a direct descendant of Joseph and Anna Karl and I was just randomly searching. It's quite a boost to have a family history that has real significance. My father and uncles were raised in Ohaupo and one of my uncles still lives there.

Comment: Hi I am a 20 year old student at waikato university and its so hard to find anything about puhoi online. MY great great great grandparents were Margeret and Joseph Pankratz who came on the first ship. It is so hard to find information on them short of coming up there I would love to know if their old homesteaad is still standing. From what I remember its down by a river under some trees out towards the cemetery. Last I heard a teacher was in there. My family have still had no luck on finding eit

Comment: I'm the daughter of Phyllis Sole nee Gleye who had a sister Iona, and brothers, Henry, Melvyn and Don. There are no survivors of that generation left.
