Comment: I want to thank you for postingall of President Johnsons statements. Johnson was an excellent president who accomplished much. He stood for the average, the poor and the down trodden. As a young American in my born in 1977 I look up to leaders like LBJ. He was didicated and had a true passion to help the ordinary citizen. It is sad that today we do not see this type of leadership in our nation. When will our nations ciizens wake up and elect a man like President Johnson again??????

Comment: Johnson was a true Texan. Unlike Dubya, he actually DID great things for his country. I owe him for letting my family move here legally, after Castro took over Cuba. I owe him for all the federal aid my family has received thanks to Johnson and the policies FDR started. LBJ was human, just like us all. You either loved him or hated him, it was that easy. I would have loved to have met and worked with the man. God bless LBJ.

Comment: I consider LBJ a most under-rated President. He served at a most difficult time, and addressed the massive problems of the nation with a kind of vision
that has disappeared.

Social Work major)that I truly was able to grasp
the scope of LBJ's greatness. What he was able to accomplish as far as domestic social policies is amazing. Why is it we only hear of his failures in foreign policy (Vietnam)? We sure need more leadership like his today. Maybe the world would be a better place. It sure is a mess. I have never felt so disillusioned with
the way the country i
