Comment: Excellently constructed website. It is informative, has lots of visaul references, and provides the viewer with intiguing material. I was most impressed how you (Mr. Edwards) promptly answerecd my letter the same day I sent it to you. It answered my qeustions very well and was written in a friendly matter. I very much look forward to doing buissness with you on my future ventures in lute.

Comment: Hallo David,
Many thanks for building me a 4 course medieval lute. I am practising with a plectrum. However, I am looking for an appropriate quill. I received plenty of hints from other lute players. But I did not my final desicion. Now I am looking for a late medieval 5 course lute. How long does it last to get one? I am very unpatient.
Best wishes from Berlin Udo

Do you offer any discount to viol makers?

Comment: I cannot agree that "no convincing instruments" for the 11-course French repertory have survived: The Warwick Frei (originally 10-course) certainly seems to be one. Look on my above mentioned homepage for others (login and password on request). How much time do you need for a copy of the Warwick Frei?

Comment: Interesting to see my old schoolfriend's name from many years ago - M.G.Lowe mentioned. I was only speaking to him a couple of weeks ago! Very interesting article.
