Comment: Can you give me some advise please myself and my brother are coming to your area for course fishing early in June but we are not to sure about what part should we go we are stuck between gowna and oughter area. this will be the third time to ireland and the past two years have been good but not brilliant. We are very keen to bag up with the Bream, Hybrids and Rudd And Roach Also any Advise you Can Give will be greatly appreciated. CJ

Comment: i recieved this email cncerning lakes and styles of fishing during the week. if anyone has any info please drop it here hi gerry my name is brendon. in may- june this year severn mates and my self are coming back to gowna . we would normaly fish in september when the fishing is very good ie church lake cloone lake. we would normally fish between the first style and the second style at church and just to the left of islands at cloone. could you please help us whit any more info

Comment: My 3X greatgrandfather & grandmother, Hugh and Maggie Murray were from Lough Gowna. They came to the US c. 1853. Maggie's mother was Julia Comiskey. Are there many Murrays or Comiskeys in Lough Gowna today. How could I locate any relatives there?

Comment: Thought the town was was so peacefull and beautiful. i love the peom about Gowna. the website is good but more people should sign the guestbook. I stayed at a beautiful B and B. I loved Pikers Lodge!
