Comment: Hello Jim,carl wright looked unlucky not to get the verdict to-day at nottingham. we had him winning the first 2 rounds quite well, keeping busy inside, which was an improvement on previous occasions. However he did allow ashton to use the orthodox nightmare to a southpaw,straight rights through the middle! ashton of long experience knows how to fiddle his way through a fight and leaves food for thought for carl, good outing for him and he is sure to benefit fron itin the long term.

Comment: Hello Jim,brilliant sparring to-day at Kev's new gym. Watched Andy Egan spar with Richard swallow-who is brilliant- I am impressed with Andy Egan, boy can he hit,improving all the time. Keep an eye on him.Emanuelle sparred with Gareth Payne- who also impressed to-day- just great to work with professionals. Alan.

Comment: we need to see andy have at least 8 fights in 2003 and if andy mean can win 6 of them he is going to climb the rankings. Tony is going in the same direction,and let's see baz start to climb as well. It will be a bonus if our other 2 lads get to fight locally DEANO and SIMMO. It looks like 2003 is going to be a good year for Coventry Boxing and local fighters
