Comment: McDonald is my maiden name. My father's people came from a small town in south Texas called Keechi, Tx. I am having great difficulty finding a trail due to a lack of public records. They were very rural and kept few birth records. The family moved to Conroe, TX when my father was a boy. His father's name was James Thomas McDonald Sr. Born 11/16/1899. Comment: I have lived in East Yorkshire since 1974.I was born in Glasgow 1941(Castle St.Townhead)It has changed quite a bit.I have been to Armadale twice, before and after the Bridge. I joined the Clan Donald about1994 and I will be rejoining this year.

Comment: I;ve just realized I'm a Loddy! John Angus MacDonald, married to Margaret MacIsac, was uncle to Premier Angus L. MacDonald. (a Loddy) My grandmother,Margaret MacDonald of Margaree Forks was his (Angus L's)1st, cousin. Am I correct?

Comment: Hi, I've been helping my Dad (Bernard J MacDonald) with our family tree. Most of our relatives came out on the Ship Chance and arrived in Melbourne on the 26th of October in 1852 comprising of 9 Adults and 3 Children 2 Died on the journey. Our line was Peter MacDonald (circa 1777-1871) his father and Mother were Alexander and Margaret, Parish of Laggan. I think we belonged to the Glencoe Branch of the MacDonalds, does any of this information look familiar to the relatives left behind.
