Comment: I live in SE Idaho in the American NW. Found your site via search for gooseberrie info. I like your site and enjoyed reading your diary. Gives me the idea to do same for my own reference. As I live in dry arid part of US and you appear to live in a much more wet/humid environment it is fun to see when you plant/harvest what. I live in USDA Zone 4, I am not sure how it compares to your climate, but I like to see how others do things. Thanks

Comment: Found your site whilst having a surf.
Very well laid out and informative too. I'm amazed at how many gardening sites I keep finding.
I've "Bookmarked" you for future reference,

Comment: Came across your diary following an email from a gardening magazine. Strange but my daughter had just told me she was moving to Gosport in a couple of weeks and will only be a stones throw from your allotments. I used to have an allotment but had to give it up due to ill health. Would like another now though but not easy to get round here. Am making do with three raised beds in the rear garden but surprising what you can do in a small area.

Comment: Hi Beryl
hope you are keeping well? As usual your allotment is outstanding and I love visiting your site for tips and ideas.
The blue gate Allotment is a slow but as usual enjoyable experience. I'm enjoying the challenge more this year. I have changed my blog address and moved from Debbies Allotment Corner webpage so I hope you will continue to visit.
Hope to hear from you soon
all the best
Debbie x

Comment: it is very interesting to read how you build and manage an alotment. We are not familiar with it. The fresh strawberries and other veggies would be a treat. Our climate is very dry and harsh in summer. We failed in our vegetable garden especialy as water is restricted. Our succulents are fine and we enjoy them
