Comment: My husband and I have recently discovered the Birman. Are they as sweet and lovable as they look? We have a black cat that has been our baby for the past 7 yrs. We are true cat people. What is the cost of a female kitten?

Comment: I am interested in getting a very docile passive loveable kitten. I hear that the Birman is a very wonderful affectionate kitten to own. I would love to have a kitty to pamper and love but do not like the fact that most cats play aggressively and bite and scratch. Is the Birman a good cat for me. Also, I am an RN at the HMC and work 8 hour shifts. Can you please let me know if this is an accurate description of this breed and if so, can I meet a cat of this breed at your cattery?
