Comment: This is a useful resource. For another, see the "Thesaurus Exemplorum Medii Aevi", established by the GAHOM research group in France:

I have put scans of Caesarius of Heisterbach's Dialogus miraculorum on the web (see my link above).
Best regards, Christoph

Comment: Dear Mr Magee,
Many thanks for putting Wright's stories on the Web. You may be interested in 'Latin Stories' by W.H.D.Rouse (Basil Blackwell Oxford, 1930) - another excellent collection.

Comment: I'm enjoying the book since I cant find it in any library near my home in Los Angeles. It could use a careful proofreading however. Your text scanner is not 100%.
Otherwise, quite fun. Look at the Asterix comics in Latin. They are well done, with puns much like the original French.

Comment: I just wanted to say that you have a wonderful website. I love the stuff I have found on Ralph Fiennes (Amon Goeth). This is very informational to me and I'm sure it is to others too. Thank you very much for taking time to read my comments, and for setting up this website.

Comment: Just checked out the Convivium link. All looks cool. I have a new frame on my website "What's New" that gives my upcoming scheduled presentations. On the notice about your Froman Feast is a photo (expandable with a click) of the Aeneas panel of the Ara Pacis on Rome. Aeneas' "amictus" is a good point of discussion for you students reading the Aeneid and I will try to link my presentaion to Vergil's whenever possible. it's not that hard and I do much of it anyway. See you Thursday. Togatus

Comment: Wow! nice site! I'm reading "From Dawn to Decadence" by Jacques Barzun and wanted to find something on Meredith's Modern Love which he referenced in a discussion on sonnets. I was surprised by the subject (compared to the Laura sonnets of Plutrarch also referenced), but was very moved by them. This site seems like the perfect place for me to explore! Barzun's book has reawakened a desire to re-visit Latin (i squandered my youthful experience, alas!) and read more pre-18th century material. Yo
