Comment: Bonjour! (I never took your French class so forgive me if it's two words, please!) I was in your Algebra class at Newnan High either my jr or sr year...it's been so long ago I don't even remember. However, I saw your link and thought I'd say hello and let you know that Emma the Moose lives on. I've taught my son to the same thing. He thought I was crazy but it works!

I hope you are doing well and still enjoying teaching. You were one of my favorite teachers!

Comment: Bon, salut tout le monde. Ca fait un peu bizarre d'écrire à mon ancienne prof de français :) I am here in Paris, permanently installed for about two years now. I minored in French at Spelman College, studied a summer in Martinique (beautiful by the way), a semester at the Business School in Dijon, France, and then did a Fulbright Grant in Chateauroux, France in 2000. Right now, I teach conversational English to high school students (and adults I can say), dance at a private dance school, and

Comment: I graduated in the class of 1987- the very first year Mme Q was at NHS! I was in French 4 that year, and we had fun. One tip- DON'T READ THE CLIFF'S NOTES for Candide!!
:-)

We are moving to Lyon, France in January to serve as missionaries for 2 years. We visited last spring break, and amazingly enough, all the HS French came back to me! I'd love to hear from you and maybe send e-mail updates en francais!!

Comment: This webpage is a great idea, and I'm excited about
the number of amazing French students at NHS! I'm
double-majoring in Political Science and French at
Furman, and I exempted two French classes. Enjoy
the rest of your time at Newnan, and good luck
with French!

Comment: Bon jour mes amis! I'm old (class of '93), but was checking out the NHS website and came across this fine page! I minored in French in college (even tested out of 101/102 after just taking two years in High School--merci Madame Q.). I have been to France twice...I went last April and used my French A LOT as I was the only one in our trio who spoke any French. I ordered train and bus tickets and (of course) food and made it back to tell about it! Bon chance et Vive la France!
