Comment: I have many relatives from nearby (and probably the same) islands. One grandmother was Aslaug Ingeborg (Petersdtr.) Haram (1911-1997) from Haramsøy, but I also have many distant cousins with the Giske name from the late-1800s/early-1900s who moved here to Seattle/Tacoma WA (Jørgina Blindheimsnes and Britanius Giske, my 2nd-great-grandaunt-and-uncle). I'd be happy to send more information.
