Comment: I have never been to North Korea at all, but it is a mysterious place I have heard about. I hope that sometime after the unification of South and North, I want to visit Pyongyang.

Comment: For those of you who enjoy military parades
with a fantastic military band, the DPRK
festivities are a real thrill.
The DPRK is probably the only country on earth now that knows how to put on a real professional display. I have seen their parades followed by
night time festivities and gymnastics and it is
amazing and wonderful to say the least.

Comment: Pyongyang metro, a testiment to the glorious Great Leader Kim Jong Il! The greatest of them all, we should all use his fine wisdom and leadership as a template on how to live our lives. Great leaders birthday should be a worldwide holiday! May his wisdom and benevolence continue to bring great prosperity and a standard of life unriveled anywhere else! Great leader, we salute you!

Comment: You and your guests all seem committed to slandering every aspect of DPRK life. Maybe you should examine your own system?

Comment: TS: No they don't. Education: propaganda. Health care: non-existent except for party members. There is no "yes, but" when it comes to North Korea.

Lovely photography. Pyongyang is a very interesting place visually, looks very clean, and dare I say it, frugal. I suppose you'd have to be when you can't really have any money. It is kind of sad thinking that a place that's called a Democratic People's Republic is anything but...though they DO have us beat on medical and educational services...
