Comment: I remember when uncle Flip told me that he was going to give me my job back at the Sun Ray (taco)and teach me how to cook. What a teacher, he knew it all, sometimes i wish i would have taken him up on teaching me his style of art. i love you uncle Bubba.

Comment: the sudden memory was of Flip naming the Sunday Brunch at Flounder's the "high stress brunch"...god knows, it certainly was...those horrible 6 egg omlettes and all the champagne you could hold at 9 am on Sunday Morning...

Comment: I remember Flip quite well...I was the first cook hired by him when Flounder's was opened...Flip was always a calming influence in that kitchen, he dealt with high volume very well, was always a person you could trust completly with any sort of problem and in many ways I continue to practice the management values he displayed. Many years later when I was between positions I worked for him for a few weeks at the Sunray Oyster Shop...Wow, a sudden memory

Comment: I spent many a good nights at the Sun Ray from 1988 to 1990. I left my lovely Beach in 1995 and ended up here in Texas. I hadnt heard that Flipper had passed... so sorry. But I remember the good times... Thanks
