Comment: I've been in Canada since 1963 and I get back to the old sod quite regularly and of all the places I return to Heddon is the only one that hasn't changed one wee bit. If I ever come back to retire I'd settle in Heddon. I have a brother on Trajan Walk, he's been there since the fifties.

Comment: I lived at Westacres, Heddon Banks from 1946 to about 1958 when I was 14. It was a very happy childhood and a wonderful place to grow up in. From the photographs it was also a lot more rural.

Comment: We used to go to Heddon First School and we thought it was absolutly BRILL! now we go to Richard Coates Middle and that school is even better, If one of the teachers at Heddon school reads this we'd just like to say thanks!!!!
