Comment: Good evening, especially to Jackie, whom I got to know in spring 2002, when I visited beautiful Herodsfoot together with my husband. Shippen Cottage was our holiday home, and we loved it so much. Maybe - hopefully - you remember the both Germans, dear Jackie. Comment: Lived at Hartswell, Herodsfoot '86 - '88 with then husband Derek and girls Lana and Ashley. Love Herodsfoot and try and visit every year as my mother is buried in the beautiful Church graveyard. Now live in Albany, Oregon USA

Comment: Lived at florence cottage in 75 then frowned upon if you entered the church only resident herodfoot people could attend a creepy place far different from your web site.Obviously lived there in wrong era !

Comment: Browsing in Herodsfoot. My grandfather came to the U.S. early in the 1900's from Herodsfoot. His name was Edgar Lobb and he was married to Eliza Prin from Doddycross. I visited both villages in 1970, including my late cousin Herbert "Bertie" Lobb, his wife Iris and daughter Janet. Would love to come back some day.......
