Comment: I was born at 14 Niagara St pontypridd Nov 15, 1934.
My parents originally immigrated to Canada in 1928 however my mother returned to Wales in 1934 where I had the priveledge of being born in Wales. I first returned to Ponty in 1951 while serving with the Canadaian Army in Germany. I married my first wife in Ponty in 1953. My mother who is with me now in canada is 91 and I have printed all I can find on Ponty and she is reliving many happy memories. I have returned to Ponty over 56 times i

Comment: I was looking for information on my Mother's maiden name of Powell. All I know is that she was born in Pontypridd in 1924, her first name was Kathleen, and that she had some brothers, I believe their names were Fred and Bill, and that her mothers name was Caroline. I would love to hear from anyone who thinks that they knew her, or maybe related.

Comment: I lived in Treforest until 1939 then moved to London
when the war started my mother sent my sister and I to my Grandmothers house, she lived at 57 Bonvilston rd, my cousins wife lives there now,the Jefferies family was very well know
the market people were very good to us during the war, there wasnt many people that went hungry in those days.

Comment: Iwas one of those hundreds of school children that came to Pontypridd to escape the bombing.I came from Leyton in east London.
I stayed with a family who's name Ican't remember.
The address was as far as I can remember was 41 vivian street Pontypridd.
