Comment: Overhaul crew 77-81. Now living in Kerrvile, Texas 22 miles from F'Burg. Intend to play golf, drinkll a few beers, and maybe see some people from my era at the reunion. Trying to convince Admiral Gove (Lt JG E-Div O in 77) to come out. He is still in the Nvy in DC.

Comment: Hi Jack and Jay, We are planning on getting to lady Byrd park by Friday and staying at least a week. Will be looking for golfers and maybe a side trip to San Antonio. Never been in TX before. Hope to see Bruce Burrell and other 60's shipmates.

Comment: I hope everybody is getting geared up for the reunion in Fredricksburg TX. Been there a couple of times and well worth the visit and just think, you will be among shipmates from all the Sam Rayburn operating decades. See ya all there.

Comment: Okay ya 'll I have made my reservations at the Lady Bird RV park. Be showing up on the 27th instead of the 26th because of a previous engagement at the Talledega race on the 26th. I will be pulling the travel trailer with the 98 Heritage Softail loaded in it. May or may not bring the wife. Haven 't decided yet :-)
Blue crew 74-80, see you there J.J. and I 'll see if I can 't talk Barry Choate in to showing up since he lives in Tejas anyway.

Comment: Wow - great to look through here and see some old familiar names! I still am in contact with McQ, Hulme and Brecken on a regular basis...in fact in response to Matt Burns Harley comment - McQ is a BIG Harley guy and that may have been him that your POC camped with.
Hope to make it to TX for the reunion - any other Blue crew types from 72-77 era planning on attending? Went to the first reunion with a very small showing from that timeframe...
