Comment: I enjoyed reading Mr. Semedo's article on cranberry
bogs and Cape Verdeans. This information is well
worth publishing for younger Cape Verdeans to
possess.

Comment: Ola. Thank you for the exciting and informative historical information. I have met and heard the stories of the bogs from currently living Cape Verdeans in the San Francisco Bay Area. Yes, it was a hard life, but the work provided resources for the family and community. Some folks are ashamed of this aspect of our history in America, but perhaps your article will encourage others to write and publish books about the bogs so our history is forgotten. Again, thank you for your web site.
