Thank you for a wonderful four night stay at your Guest House Haisthorpe. The room was so comfortable & clean, and the breakfasts were well worth waking up for. Will highly recommend your place to our friends & family if they ever visit the beautiful Lakes District, pity you can't arrange sunshine as well as Angela can cook, but we will forgive you anyway. Thanks for having such a wonderful WEB Site. Hope you had a great holiday, see you on our next visit.

Comment: Your website is brilliant ! Had it not been for that we would not have found you and we would have missed a most enjoyable, but wet, few days at one of the best hotels we have been too. Mick, just one thing..don't hide the cook in the kitchen! Otherwise everything was just as we would wish for. Many thanks and Kind Regards. Mr & Mrs Harrabin

Comment: Trudie and I would like to thank you both for your excellent hospitality during our 6 day stay in Windermere. The en suite room was well presented, warm and cosy and we both looked forward to the hearty breakfast served each day. The informative website you created was one of the reasons we selected your B&B, and after our stay we were not disappointed with our choice.
We look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future and would not hesitate to recommend you to family and frien

Comment: We had a great time at Haisthorpe. It is ideally situated and very convenient to the town of Windermere. Mick was very helpful in advance of our trip with email information about trains, etc. He also has a lot of tourist information available.
It's a very clean, charming inn. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Comment: Dear Mr. Brown,
I picked up your book by chance while I wa meandering through a plaza on a lazy Tuesday afternoon. The few pages I read captivated me. Being in academics and having some faith (that word1:)) in critical thinking I was recently becoming a sceptic who was feeling a lot of isolation and anger but was also afraid to lose any chance of happiness or contenment. Pieces of the book was a clear articulation of my own thought process and obsrvations. I felt blessed to have a book

Comment: During our four days at Haisthorpe House in September, we thoroughly enjoyed the very clean comfortable bedroom, quiet location, promptly served generous English breakfasts, the tourism suggestions and literature, the friendly cat curled up on the lounge sofa, and the pick-up and drop-off at the train station. But we particularly want to thank you for your help before we arrived--Mick's prompt e-mail replies during our booking process provided tourism advice that smoothed our trip to Windermere
