It's hard to believe that Operation Allenbrook
started May 17th. 1968. I was a sniper with 3/27th
Marines and I landed on Gonoi Island about May 19th.
I didn't realy have to go, but volenteered as a
grenader just to get on my first operation. I ended
up a sniper anyway. I still can't belive I got through
it. Nice talking to you, and Semper Fi.

Comment: I am searching for info. on my second cousin who was KIA on 3/6/69. I can't believe how much difficulty I'm having. I finally discovered he was in Kilo Co. 3/5. His name Richard Coyle. May have been part of Operation Taylor Common. Anyone have any info out there? Thank you.
