Comment: Steve,
I just read your guestbook and didn't see my name on their. Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. Which is pretty much the best I can use to describe your fiction.
It all started with a little post here, and a little post there (OK, so they weren't so little) to the AGD newsgroup, and we came to know the characters - Solo, Dolt, Dumptruk, Ichabod. Heck, even Griswold got to have his part!
And now, once again, you're amazing us with Val Halla's Journey.

Comment: Your story is very well done. I believe that it is the best story surrounding Diablo or Starcraft. No offense, but it might help to lose the music. I couldn't concentrate on reading with it on. Other than that, it was an excellent story and great tension and suspense!

Comment: I don't like music when I read. It tries to draw me out of the book and I have to fight it. I was surprised when that wasn't true for Hellcraft. It's not just that the music played nicely in the background -- the music actually changed the way I read. There was a tension throughout the story that doesn't usually accompany my reading -- the pace was faster, more urgent. It reminded me more of watching a movie with subtitles, somehow. Verrrrry interesting.
