Comment: I saw you at Coventry University when it was The Lanch - about 1972. Shakin' Stevens & The Sunsets were on the same bill. I'd been telling people for years about this band that looked like Butlins Redcoats standing in a line, playing the Zobstick and hitting a bass drum with 2 blocks of wood! I actually bought a CD 2 weeks ago!!!

Comment: Query re: the album cover, CONT: If no alternate cover are you aware of any other band of that era who issued an album with a cover as I have described and or with the ditty, "I grow whiskers on my chin, etc"? My memory is that the ditty came mid way through a track.

Comment: Query re: the album cover, 'Brett Marvin & the Thunderbolts: BMT01'. Is this the only cover the record was issued under? Memory is, man on a plinth, possibly more statuesque than Nelson's column cover, in front of northern mill town, Town Hall like building. The man was larger, front and centre to image and whole photo may have a greyish black + white look. If no alternate cover are you aware of any other band of that era who issued an album with a cover as I have described and or with the di

Comment: Just watching The Ian Drury do***entary and saw your name on a bill poster reminded me of some great nights in the Stapleton Hall Tavern. Always remember the song Miss You Girl and the boot on a stick with the bottle tops. Glad to see you are still together. Jerry

Comment: Hi chaps, I first saw you at Lancaster University in about 1969-70, and again at the long demolished Albany in Deptford about 10 years later. Glad to see are still going and that you now have a bass player.

Comment: What a great gig you boys performed last night at the 1st North London blues festival .How you manage to muster up so much energy I’ll never know. The last time I caught you lot was at the Rainbow Theatre in London’s Finsbury Park supporting John mayall way back in the late 60s.I was a mere lad and here you are, still treading the boards and spreading your infectious brand of boogie blues.
