Comment: Mr. Whittaker, I have listened to your music for years, probably since the day I was born. My mom is a huge fan, and she played your songs (along with a lot of John Denver) constantly in our home as I was growing up. At 35 years old, I'm a special education teacher in Utah, USA, and I share your love of working with children. I want to thank you for filling this tired old world with absolutely beautiful, wholesome music -- you're the best, Mr. Whittaker.

Comment: Simply to say thank you to Mr.Whittaker. I turned 40 this year and after listening to many kinds of music for several years, I heared a song of his on the radio that lead me to rediscover a voice that brought very nice and emotional memories. We are many that would like to see him visit Quebec (La belle province) again. Hope to witness such an event in a near futur.

Comment: The Last Farewell has just been played on U105 Radio here in Belfast .. as an expat East African it always bring tears to my eyes and wonderful memories of days long gone but never forgotten .. after much travelling since leaving EA 45 years ago I have now settled in Northern Ireland peaceful friendly and homely .. thank you for being there along the way.

Comment: Great idea, Vicky & Rory re: preserving the rare vinyl material.

As always, I'd be happy to contribute time and my own sound equipment to such a task. I'm sure that if we pool our collections (I've over 200 LPs/Tapes/CDs, and Vicky & Rory have about a million :-) with what others have, there is a complete early / rare discography that can be assembled... again, for preservation purposes.

Comment: Vicky and Rory, never heard of that song. I suppose Roger would know? Good idea to put together a collection of rarer tracks that are easier to play than LPs. We can all do it, but it'd be far better as a group effort. I really must get on with converting those LPs... And I still come across "new" songs on my Ultimative Hits CDs.
