Comment: Kimmolle Olihan 70-luvun alussa julkaistu "Whistling ´round the world" vihellyskappalekokoelma. Siinä oli muutaman tunnetun vihellykappaleen nimi muutettu paremmin teemaan sopivaksi. Esim. "Skye Boat Song" oli "Scottish Whistler", "Swaggy" "Australian Whistler" jne. Onko Suomessa todella ihan oikea Whittaker- fan club?

Something in your presentation, voice, lyrics has made you shine like no other I have ever listened to in my life. I only wish that someday you might tour Tampa or St. Pete here in the US. However I'm afraid that if you did, the concert would be a sell out and my wife and I would probably not be able to get tickets. I certainly would give it my best shot though. Comment: This is for Barbara in the U.S. re the Kenya DVD. There's good news and bad news here. The Kenya VHS has not been reissued anywhere as a stand-alone DVD. BUT, it has been released in Europe ONLY as a bonus segment on Roger's "Ein Dankeschon" DVD, which is in PAL format but Region Free. You will need an NTSC-PAL DVD player, such as some Yamahas at BestBuy. Please note: the DVD is in German but the Kenya section is still in English!

Comment: Have been a fan for more years than I am sure Roger or myself care to remember. But I am wondering if there is an update on the 'Kenya' DVD/VHS? I have been anxiously awaiting that news. Hope ROger is able to visit the states again soon.

Comment: This is for Kimmo in Finland regarding Roger's whistling recordings. The news here is both good and bad. There is such a collection, released in Canada on LP in 1972, RCA CGPSX-384 (French cover), RCA CASX-2545, reissued in 1975 as KNL1-7052. Unfortunately this wonderful collection has never been reissued after 1975 or put on CD. There are both Philips and Intercord versions of the 1972 LP. Presumably BMG now owns the rights but needs encouragement to look at putting out a CD version.
