Comment: When I was 6 years old and living in Canada in 1978, I first heard Roger Whittaker music; my New Zealand mother was a big fan, so it was regularly played at home. I was so affected by his music, I remember I even joined The Roger Whittaker fan club, also aged 6 !
To this day, I feel soothed and moved by his vocal inflections and emotional expression.

Comment: continued for Linda. One correction to the German website; there is NO CD being released of the Cottbus concert. As far as ordering there are several locations. From German I usually buy from www.jpc.de because of the easy processing.

The new DVD is called "Einfach leben - Live - Dankeschön für all die Jahre" and actually comes out Friday. There are two versions; a concert-only one and a concert-plus-bonus DVD with backstage footage and interviews. You can see the cover illustration on Roger's German website. more >>>
