Comment: This is some info for anyone with the new "Live um die Welt" CD. The four tracks attributed to "Lansdowne, Canada" are actually taken from the 1975 Tembo Canada LP TM2-5000 "Live In Canada" which was recorded at Hamilton Place.

(Lansdowne Studio is actually in the UK north of London and closed last year after 40 years in business).

Comment: Thank you very much Natalie for clarifying the situation regarding BMG cancelling the Cottbus CD and replacing it with "Live um die Welt".

We have just finished listening to this CD and can offer some info for everyone interested.

BUT,to anyone contemplating buying the CD, go ahead - it's absolutely wonderful. There are 11 English and 10 German tracks plus Mexican Whistler.

We will post details in the forum - open to everyone to visit!

Comment: Actually, I'm American but I've been living in Turkey for almost 7 years. You are my favorite male singer in the world. I was just saying to a friend that hardly anyone sings love songs anymore. Yours are the best. My favorite woman singer is Nana Mouskouri and I was so pleased when I found that you had recorded some duets. Comment: I first heard about you when I was 14 years old at an HMV in Hong Kong. I remember singing along to 'Durham Town' and humming to 'I Don't Believe In If Anymore'. I'm 20 now, and am pleased to find that I still thoroughly enjoy your music. Songs like 'Mexican Whistler' that I couldn't appreciate when I was young has now become one of my favourites.

Comment: I heard 'Durham Town ' recently and I still find it a haunting and sad song. Although I now live in Hawaii, I grew up in New Zealand and I remember growing up hearing your wonderful songs on the radio. Thanks for bringing back happy memories.
