Comment: I have enjoyed Roger Whittaker since about 1975, and had the pleasure of seeing him in concert in Coasta Mesa, Ca. area in November 1980. I found him not only one of the greatest singers, but a great entertainer! Just yesterday I was telling a customer about him, and thought I'd go on line and see what I could learn. I was delighted to find this site. May God continue to bless this man and his family, as he has blessed so many millions through his music, with his gift from God.

Comment: I am a retired British Army Air Corps soldier with many years service in the Far East so The Last Farewell brings a tear to my eye. So does The Leavin' (Durham Town ?) been there (London anyway !) done it !!
To settle a difference of opinions I would like to know if both those songs made the Top 20 sung by Roger ? My friend says it was some other singer who made those and other famous RW songs famous. I know I'm right so to stop the 'hostilities' could someone send me the proof ? Thanks

Comment: I think I heard your fabulous voice an whistling for the first time in 1976-77. No matter what direction my musical taste have absorbed I allways have loved your music. I think it was in the late 90's I had the pleasure of seeing one of your conserts in my hometown, Trondheim. It was a night I will have in my hart forever. I hope I will have the chance to see you perform again in the future.

Comment: So, is anyone else here as excited as I am right now about the prospect of a brand-new Roger Whittaker album in 2 weeks? (I'm sure many are!)

I do not speak a word of German (outside of song ***les), but I cannot wait to receive my copy, as Roger is a delight in any language! I highly encourage english fans who have not been initiated into RW's german recordings to give them a chance, and show your support for our favorite singer by picking up a copy of "Liebe Endet Nie".
