Comment: Got to agree with you show on the prior compe***ion issue also why Pavlik didn't fight better fighters(like Taylor also) is because no one is going to fight a up and comer with a 80+% knockout ratio unless it is for the big bucks.Taylor had the same issue till he got to fight hopkins and got his breakthrough.JM you are a obvious fight fan this should make some sense to you also.Now that Pavlik has a name because of HBO we get to see how he'll do against a champ.I think he will do quite well.

Comment: You know, JM in here is conintually calling Pavlik a drunk and a *** because he 's only one top 10 talent KO in Miranda. Well, how did people view Taylor 's career prior to Hopkins please. Name me ONE other Top 10 fighter Taylor fought before Hopkins other than William Joppy? I know I 've looked and don 't see one. Who do people that person is? SO, I got an idea for you pro-Pavlik and pro-Taylor people. Just watch the damn fight and thank God its not PPV like so many quality fights.

Comment: In all seriousness Miranda didn't show up to fight, Pav won and should be in for a reality check. He has fought people your gradmother could have taken to school. He is in the big leagues now. JT did it once in the amateurs and will do it again. If anyone says "amateur fights" don't count then they certainly have an agenda to suit and have no knowledge of this sport of boxing. It does matter and matters a lot. Miranda was not the Miranda of old who had shown up for that fight but I will cave in and say "ok" he beat one "quality" opponent and the rest were lackluster. He is the numero uno contender, can't take that away from him however he isn't the "next in line" to be a great. I have heard from numerous sources this was a done deal. If you compare resumes then clearly you will see "why" Taylor is champion and he hasn't taken the "easy road". You could have beaten Miranda

Comment: Sick and blind opponents? Appears as if you been following Miranda before his fight w/ Pavlik. I would love to have read your pre fight posts for that event. Im sure in summary it was how Pavlik was about to get beat down. Whether Miranda was at his best or not, their certainly was a clinic ran on him that night.

Comment: JM, what up? I just heard rumor that Taylor has cancelled the fight and is moveing up to 168. You have any word on this?
Also, Padded record or not, he is still the #1 contender and you dont reach that goal by being a chump or "great white hype" as you call it. And, if you do reach that goal by being a chump, that speaks volume about the middle weight division as a whole. There is no denying that.

At the end of the day you have a winner and a loser. A question or two for you which is as follows: Who is the current middleweight champion? Pavlik who fought one "real" person instead of sick and blind people deserves this shot with a Jack Lowe padded record. He HAD 2 go to the cards against someone with 66 LOSSES. This ever happen to Taylor? LOL I rest my case, facts sometimes can be a b!tch
